Sports Day 2019

On Friday 7th June, we had our Sports for All day and what a day we had! Our boys and girls had the time of their lives running and racing, skipping and splashing, bouncing and building, parachuting and playing. A huge thank you to the parents and friends of Scoil Chlíodhna for taking part and helping out today – we could not have had a successful sports day without you! Active School Week 2019

Our school organises an Active School Week as part of our annual school calendar and this is something we all look forward to! We wear our tracksuits for the whole week and during Active School week we travel to school as actively as possible, for some this means walking the whole way to school and for others this means walking from the top car park. During this week our Sports Day also takes place. Cork City Sports

Huge well done to the team who represented the school at Cork City Sports on Thursday 30th May. They swept the board with 2 children coming in 1st place, 2 children coming in 2nd place, and another in 3rd place! The whole team were an absolute credit to the school and we are all so proud of them!!...

Stryker

We are so lucky that our friends from Stryker come to visit us in November to help brighten up our yard. The efforts they put in brightening up our railings, assembling sensory boards and painting yard games have already brought so much happiness to our students and we are extremely grateful for their help Here are some pictures of our fantastic friends at Stryker and also the wonderful Scoil Chlíodhna children enjoying their new yard. Active Commitee

Our Active Committee recently conducted a  ‘What Club Are You In?’ survey with all the boys and girls in our school. Here are the results; Some of the most popular clubs in our area are the Swimming Club, Gymnastics and Carrigtwohill GAA .
